Two employees of Radio Pakistan died of corona virus on the same day.
According to Radio Pakistan, two employees of the company, senior broadcast engineer Muhammad Ashfaq and female Urdu newscaster Huma Zafar have contracted the virus and left the world.
According to Radio Pakistan, senior broadcasting engineer Muhammad Ashfaq was a permanent employee and a very capable person, while female Urdu newscaster Huma Zafar was on contract for the last 20 years and had been reading Urdu news at Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation.
Huma Zafar had a PhD in psychology from abroad. She was also serving as a senior professor in a college in Rawalpindi.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz, Information Secretary Akbar Hussain Durrani and DG Radio Pakistan Umbreen Jan have expressed deep sorrow over the demise of both the employees.
Chairman Central Film Censor Board Danyal Gillani also confirmed the news of the Demise of the employees on his twitter account he further informed that the mother of the female newscaster also died of corona the other day.
