Pakistani drama industry is well-reputed around the globe for providing superb family entertainment over the decades. It’s really difficult to compile a list of best Pakistani dramas because everyone has a different opinion and taste. Here I have tried to share with you guys a list of top 5 dramas that will surely keep you hooked to the screen till the end.

This is not just a love story of Hassan n bano but an epic love of people with their motherland. The episodes showing the events at the time of partition will leave you crying and make one realize the pain that went in creation of Pakistan. Amazing direction, powerful dialogues and superb acting make it a blockbuster hit. Mehndi Designs were very popular in this drama

Falling in love with Zareen, a spoiled brat, being rejected, going to England,hiring  Nell as his house-keeper. Then how he feel inclined towards religion. All the later events are a treat to watch.

      This is story of Afzal Subhan , an optimistic character, son of a Moulvi. He has a secret crush on Farah, daughter of a mill-owner. This drama is extremely expressive in exposing the deep reality of human relationships, be it the father-son relation or the siblings relation. The twists in the story keep you glued to it. All the actors did justice to their roles, good screen-play, excellent direction made it a super hit. The extent to which this drama was loved can be understood from the fact that it’s last episode was aired in various cinemas within the country and that happened for the very first time.

       This story revolves around 2 persons, Kashaf Murtaza and Zaroon Junaid, who are opposite in thought and financial status. The female lead of this serial became very popular. Kashaf is a middle-class intelligent girl who gets a scholarship to a prestegious university where she meets Zaroon who comes from a rich family. Initially the 2 of them don’t get along but later in their lives they finally get married. The character of Kashaf’s mother(Samina Peerzada) is also very strong, mother of 3 daughters,seperated from her husband, sole bread-winner of the family and yet she manages to pull through.  How finally Kashaf accepts zaroon’s  proposal, how they fall in love and the ups and downs of their married life make up the story. Very powerful dialogues and flawless acting made this serial acclaimed world wide. This probably was the 1st Pakistani drama to be dubbed in Arabic
       Pakistani drama industry is full of talent in all fields. So many other productions made themselves recognized in the world, the above mentioned serials are probably the best or should I say among the best.
