PML Q also refused to attend the PM’s dinner invitation.
The ruling coalition PML Q has also decided not to attend the dinner hosted by Prime Minister Imran Khan today.
Prime Minister Imran Khan today invited the leaders of the coalition parties to a dinner, in honor of the government members of the National Assembly which will be given at the Prime Minister’s House.
In this regard, the PML-Q spokesperson said that they are allies of the government but are not participating in the dinner because the party is busy but it is voting for the government in the entire process of approving the budget.
According to sources, the strategy for approving the federal budget will be considered at the dinner and consultations will be held on putting before the nation the facts regarding the increase in petrol prices.
Sources said that the function will focus on internal differences of the party, alliance issues and national issues and the Prime Minister will take the party and alliance members of the National Assembly into confidence on various issues.
Later, Prime Minister Imran Khan will also address government members of the National Assembly.
Besides, Balochistan National Party (BNP) has also been invited to the dinner but they have also refused to attend the dinner.
BNP leader Jahanzeb Jamaldini said that the Prime Minister’s dinner was for government allies, his party was no longer an ally so there was no justification for him to attend the Prime Minister’s dinner.
