The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has allowed the national airline (PIA) one extra flight a day.
According to a CAA spokesperson, the PIA has been allowed to operate an additional flight on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitar due to overcrowding.
The spokesman said the additional flight would be between Karachi and Islamabad.
The spokesman said the PIA had been granted additional flights until the end of May.
It is to be noted that international air operations are still suspended due to the Corona lockdown in the country, while limited regional flights are being operated.
