Muhammad Nawaz, a 28-year-old disabled man with both hands, a resident of 6 Union Council Qadirpod, said that despite receiving a message on his mobile phone, he has been circulating the office for a month and no relief of Rs 12,000 has been given.
He says he does not have both hands and cannot give biometrics.
On this issue, Assistant Director Ehsas Program Khanpur Madam Sugharan said that a policy is being formulated for those whose fingerprints are not clear or those who are disabled. Such people should wait and the problems will be resolved soon.
It may be recalled that under the Ehsas Emergency Cash Program, Rs 12000 are being given to unemployed and needy.
During the program, most senior citizens complained that their thumbprints had disappeared and they were deprived of assistance due to lack of biometrics.
On this issue, the chairperson of Ehsas program, Dr. Sania Nishtar, had immediately reopened the offices of NADRA, which was closed due to Corona, so that the problem of such people could be solved, but so far these problems seem to be in place.
