According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief executive Wasim Khan, out of the 10 players who tested positive for corona virus, six tested negative while four tested positive again.
Wasim Khan, chief executive of the PCB, told the media that in the second Corona Test for the tour of England, the first test was negative for 18 players and the second test for 11 officials was also negative.
According to Wasim Khan, out of the 10 players who were confirmed to be Corona earlier, 6 players have tested negative in the second test while 4 are still confirmed to be Corona.
Wasim Khan said that Hasnain, Shadab, Fakhr Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan, Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Hafeez were among the players who came negative in the second corona test. The first corona test of these 6 players came positive while Kashif Bhatti, Haris Rauf, Haider Ali. And Imran Khan’s second test has also come positive.
The chief executive of the PCB says that despite the negative result of the second test, these six players will not go to England.
He said that the second test of 11 officials involved in the team management has also come negative while the test of the team’s massager has come positive again.
Wasim Khan said that the team will first go to Worcester where there will be a 14-day quarantine while the corona test of the players will be taken again within 24 hours of their arrival in England.
“England have not raised any questions about our testing procedures,” he added.
It may be recalled that in the recent corona test conducted by the Pakistan Cricket Board before the tour of England, the virus was confirmed in 10 players, out of which Muhammad Hafeez had personally undergone his own test in which his result was negative and The report was posted on social media, which angered the PCB.
