Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched a mobile app to provide basic facilities to the citizens of Islamabad at home.
In his Twitter statement, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he had inaugurated the Islamabad Capital Territory City App (ICT City App) today, with this application the government and all sectors have reached the doorstep of the people.
The Prime Minister said that his government has fulfilled another promise to the people and now 43 different facilities including e-policing, emergency services, domicile and identity card will be provided to the citizens of Islamabad online.
The Prime Minister added that the app also includes passport and arm licensing service.
He further said that it would not have to be cut off by the public offices, nor would it be difficult for them to stand in long queues and wait, it has launched for the successful trial period in Islamabad and later will be introduced in other cities.
The Prime Minister said that various services including domiciles, passports, arms licenses, vehicle registrations, token tax payments, birth and death certificates are part of this app.
He said that the application would also pave the way for immediate intervention by the administration in case of shortage of medicines and medicines.
