A meeting of the National Coordination Committee, chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan held in which more decisions were taken at the national level to deal with the Coronavirus.
According to details, a meeting of the National Coordination Committee chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan held. The provincial chief ministers participated in the meeting via video link.
Senior officials of the military and civil institutions, including Chairman NDMA, Advisors, Finance Minister, and other Federal Ministers and Dr. Zafar Mirza, Assistant Special Information and Social Security were also present in the meeting.
Sources said that economic situation including coronavirus will be reviewed in the country, Special Assistant Dr.Zafar Mirza will brief the present situation of corona and Chairman NDMA on the steps taken to deal with the corona.
According to sources, the meeting will also be consulted on the government relief package and briefing on measures to prevent partial lockdown, while further decisions are expected at the national level to tackle the Coronavirus.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had told parliamentary leaders yesterday that if curfew was to be imposed due to corona, we would have to deliver food to homes, volunteers to bring food to people’s homes.
Imran Khan said if we have to go beyond curfew on lockdown then we have to think. If curfew is to be imposed across the country, we need at least preparation. Together, we can win the battle against Corona.
