CM Sindh releases 580 Million Rupees for underprivileged

During the lockdown, the Sindh government has released 580 million Rupees to provide ration to the working and poor on daily wages.

An important meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, in which Chief Secretary, Additional Secretary Home Secretary, Principal Secretary and IG Jails were present.

Talking to the meeting, the Chief Minister said that there are more than 16,000 prisoners in our jails. I want to reduce the number of prisoners in prisons, who are locked in minor cases or have completed their sentence but have not been guaranteed.

Murad Ali Shah instructed the IG Jail to list the details of each prisoner, including his crime, the prisoner’s age, the date of his imprisonment, the under-trial, or the list of the convicted and the prisoner’s health. By law you will see how many prisoners can be released.

On the other hand, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has released 580 million Rupees to provide ration to the poor and those who earn daily wages.

According to the spokesman, 20 million rupees will be given in each district so that the daily wages will be distributed among the workers. The spokesman said that on the direction of the Chief Minister, the Finance Secretary transferred the funds.
