Volunteers stationed at the Quarantine Center in Sukkur’s Labor Colony started protesting against the administration on stop them from meeting.
A Quarantine Center has been set up in the Labor Colony for the victims from the Pak-Iran border Taftan, which are being monitored.
According to police, volunteers from different organizations were in service at Quarantine Center, whose presence was increasing meetings due to which the ban was imposed.
After the protests at the Quarantine Center, provincial minister Awais Qadir Shah held talks with volunteers, including scholars and administrative officials.
Speaking exclusively to media after the talks, Provincial Minister Awais Qadir said there were two types of volunteers working in Quarantine, one serving inside and the other outside.
He said volunteers protested outside the Quarantine Center, but false reports of out going of Corona patients were spread, while passengers coming from Taftan were inside their blocks.
He said the visitors had complained of delays in getting medicines which have been removed and I was looking into all the issues myself so there is no problem in Quarantine.
Awais Qadir shah said that Corona virus prevention measures are also necessary for the people working here.
It is thought that 3 people have been killed due to corona virus in the country while the number of infected patients is 729 across the country.
