Corona virus kills 3 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Ajmal Khan Wazir, Advisor to Chief Minister Mahmood Khan confirmed the third death of Corona virus in the province.
At the press conference, Ajmal Khan Wazir said that the test report of the woman killed in Dera Ismail Khan has come positive after the death toll from the deadly virus has increased to 3 in the province.
It is pertinent to note that after the third death in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the total number in the country has increased to 4 while one patient died in Sindh.
Ajmal Khan Wazir further said that 170 suspected cases of deadly virus have been reported in the province but the number of confirmed cases has increased to 31.
It should be noted that the first casualty of the Corona virus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was March 18 in Mardan District, where 50-year-old Saadat Khan passed away.
The other casualty was the same day at Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar, where a 36-year-old resident of Hangu underwent treatment and passed away.
Both men had returned home from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates a few days ago.
Corona virus has reached 714 in the country, out of which 333 have been reported in Sindh, 163 in Punjab, 104 in Balochistan, 71 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 31 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 11 in Islamabad and one in Azad Kashmir. ۔
So far, 5 patients have been cured in the country out of which 3 are from Sindh and 2 from Islamabad.
