PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has warned of the threat of the Corona virus, saying that Pakistan will have to go through a complete lockdown in any case.
Sindh province, which has been hit by Corona virus most times, has demanded lockdown from the federal government several times, but the Prime Minister has denied the lockdown immediately.
Talking to senior journalists yesterday, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that due to Corona, he would lock down if needed, If we did lockdown the daily wage earner would be in problem, there is no situation in the country where people start reserving stock..
But now on all this, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Pakistan will have to go to a complete lockdown in every case; Lock down must be decided soon.
He appealed to the public that unless the government is ready for lockdown, stay in their homes and citizens should try to protect themselves and others.
Regarding lockdown, Bilawal Bhutto further said that no province can cope with the Corona virus crisis alone, so we need the full help of the federal government to make the lockdown viable and we need to do more testing of people. The federation needs help.
The PPP chairman said that where we are hopeful for the good, then we must be prepared for the worst. If the worst happens then our health system is not capable.
There is a need to learn from the experiences of other countries, he said.
