Sindh government has issued contact numbers for the public in connection with the coronavirus.
Information Minister Sindh Nasir Hussain Shah has said that in case of suspicion of the coronavirus, the public should immediately contact on 02199206565, 02199203443.
Nasir Hussain Shah said that there is a need for precautionary measures for coronavirus. No one has to worry. We have contacted all the relevant agencies. Screening is also being done at the airport, in all Sindh including Karachi. Centers have been created.
Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani announced that all schools in the province today and tomorrow should be closed, saying that the parents were very upset due to the news of the coronavirus, which announced the departure of educational institutions for 2 days.
Meanwhile, Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar has directed an emergency at KMC hospital. He said isolation wards have been set up at KMC hospitals. And vacations of paramedical staff have been canceled.
It is clear that the Coronavirus has reached Pakistan, so far two cases have been reported. Dr. Zafar Mirza confirmed that the affected person was kept in intensive care at Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi. The other patient is undergoing treatment in PIMS. The relationship is with Skardu. Both patients had returned from Iran.
