Lahore, a historic city in the Punjab province of Pakistan, has been turned into a pile of litter.
Employees of Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) have been on strike for two days due to non-payment of salaries which has led to garbage dumping in Lahore.
Heaps of Garbage are visible in Anarkali, Urdu Bazar, Bhatti Chowk, Water Pond, Mayo Hospital Chowk, Lakshmi Chowk, Nisbet Road, Abbott Road, McLeod Road and its adjoining areas.
In the areas garbage piles have become permanent . In addition, the streets and highways of the streets are also filled with rubbish.
The odor has made it worst for the citizens to live and pass by, in which the citizens say that the cleanliness of the city has been noticed, the city which is clean has started to remain dirty.
