RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar javed Bajwa met with Turkish Defense Minister (R) Hulusi Akar.
According to the Pakistan Army Department of Public Relations (ISPR), issues of mutual interest and regional security were discussed during a meeting with Turkish Minister of National Defense.
The ISPR said that during the meeting, steps were taken to enhance the defense partnership between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Pakistan values its unique relations with Turkey and will always stand with its Turkish brothers.
According to the ISPR, the Turkish Defense Minister praised Pakistan’s services for preventing conflict in the region.
It is to be noted that Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan and a high level delegation arrived in Pakistan on February 12 for a two-day visit.
