Pakistani-British Finance Minister Sajid Javed resigns

British Pakistani Finance Minister Sajid Javed has resigned from his post.

In a letter to Prime Minister Boris Johnson on his Twitter account, Sajid Javid said he wants to give as much time to his family and the people of his constituency, Broomes Grove.

Sajid Javed expressed his best wishes for Boris Johnson and his cabinet and said that they would also provide full support to the government by sitting in the previous seats in Parliament.

According to the British media, Indian-born Rashi Sonak has been appointed as the new finance minister, replacing Sajid Javed, who had earlier served as the chief secretary finance minister.

According to the British Broadcasting BBC, Sajid Javed refused to obey Boris Johnson in connection with the expulsion of his assistants.

In this regard, Sajid Javed says his assistants did a good job and they did not want to be replaced.
