Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is among the most favored leaders of Muslim countries.
Gallup International, a leading public opinion poll, received 5,261 people worldwide to find out about the world’s favorite leaders. Thousands of men and women were interviewed in November and December in each country.
According to the Gallup poll, the Turkish president’s popularity in Muslim countries is 30 percent, he is at the top.
Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdul Aziz is second in the list of top Muslim leaders in the world, with 25 percent popularity, while Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is third with 21 percent popularity.
According to the survey, German Chancellor Angela Merkel is ranked first in the world with 46% popularity, with French President Emmanuel Macron second with 40% popularity and Russian President Vladimir Putin third with 36% popularity.
Fourth in the list of world leaders is US President Donald Trump, whose graph of popularity is 31 percent, while British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have 30 percent, thus ranking both fifth.
