Darren Sammy of Peshawar Zalmi and Ravi Bopara of Multan Sultans have arrived in Pakistan for PSL V. More cricketers will arrive in Pakistan in the next two days.
All the PSL V matches starting February 20 will be in Pakistan this time. Darren Sammy of West Indies, who is in Peshawar Zalmi was the first player to arrive in Pakistan.
Multan Sultans’ coach Andy Flower has also arrived in Pakistan. Islamabad United Luke Runner, Phil Salt, Colin Ingram will arrive in Karachi on February 15, but Dale Steyn’s arrival is subject to his participation in the series against Australia, with the United administration awaiting a decision by Cricket South Africa in this regard.
The inaugural match of the PSL V will be played between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators. The Islamabad United team will camp in Karachi from February 16 to prepare for the match.
Imran Tahir of Multan Sultans will arrive in Pakistan tomorrow. Rilee Russow will visit Pakistan on Saturday night. Moeen Ali of England will arrive in Pakistan on February 18, while Moeen Ali is representing the Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League.
David Malan will also arrive in Pakistan on February 18. Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators players will also start arriving in Karachi on Saturday night. A total of 36 foreign cricketers are involved in the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League.
