Under the leadership of former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara, the team of the world-famous Marley Boone Cricket Club (MCC) arrived in Lahore on a 7-day tour.
Wasim Khan, chief executive of Pakistan Cricket Board, welcomed the guest players at Lahore Airport.
The team is led by Kumar Sangakkara who has come to Pakistan after 11 years while the team of Marley Bone Cricket Club has arrived in Pakistan after 48 years.
The historic Lord’s Cricket Ground in England is owned by the Marley Boone Cricket Club and the Marley Bone Club is also known as the Cricket Rules.
Kumar Sangara along with Chief Executive Wasim Khan will hold a press conference at Gaddafi Stadium this afternoon after which the MCC team will hold a practice session.
The MCC team will play four matches in Lahore on tour. The Twenty20 match between Lahore Qalandars and MCC teams will be played at Gaddafi Stadium tomorrow.
MCC will play one-day matches against Pakistan Shaheens on February 16.
