Pakistan’s first Test cricket team’s last surviving member Waqar Hassan passed away in Karachi.
Waqar Hassan was one of Pakistan’s first Test team member,he was sick from a really long time who died at the age of 87 in Karachi.
Waqar Hassan’s son, Abrar Hassan, said that his father was sick from a long time, his funeral prayer will be offered tomorrow after zuhar prayer at Mosque Shaheem Defense.
Waqar Hassan was the last cricketer of Pakistan’s first Test team who was alive, but now no member of Pakistan’s first Test team is alive.
Middle-order batsman Waqar Hassan represented Pakistan in 21 Tests and scored 1071 runs. He played a brilliant 189-run innings against New Zealand in 1955 in Lahore.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Cricket Board has also expressed grief over the death of former cricketer Waqar Hassan.
