Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the government will go up to the limit to provide relief to poor people.
Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting to provide relief to the poor and the salaried, in which Assistant Special Assistant Sanya Nishtar, Chairman Utility Stores Zulfiqar Ali Khan and others participated in the meeting while discussing the cost of relief and information on inflation.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the top priority of the government is the people, especially the poor and the salaried segment.
It is to be remembered that the Prime Minister has announced steps to reduce the prices of essential items. The Prime Minister’s decisions on providing relief to the common man will be announced in the cabinet meeting tomorrow.
On the other hand, sources say that the government has decided to provide a subsidy of Rs 15 billion for low-income people, which has been suggested to give a package of 15 billion to utility stores.
According to sources, ration cards will be given to the deserving through BISP and the supply of food items to utility stores will be increased.
Sources say that a summary has been directed for the ECC to be finalized in this regard, which will be finalized from the cabinet.
