The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized 98 million worth of drugs in a major national history operation.
According to details, the Anti-Narcotics Force seized 98 million worth of heroin and opium in the operation. The operation was carried out at the South Asia Pakistan Terminal.
According to ANF officials, the heroin container was being shipped via Netherland. 45kg of heroin and 35kg of opium were recovered from the container. Sources say that investigation has been launched about who is sending the drug through the container and who is involved.
Pakistan Coast Guard, on the other hand, recovered 82kg of heroin in action. Coast Guard officials say the operation took place in the Gwadar Klanch hill area. The suspects fled. Smugglers wanted to smuggle drugs overseas.
According to Coast Guard officials, the value of the export drug in the global market is Rs 2273 million. It may be recalled that in January last month, anti-narcotics force in Multan arrested three suspects and recovered heroin worth millions of rupees.
