Sarfraz Ahmed, captain of Team Quetta Gladiator in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), says he is proud that players like Naseem Shah and Mohammad Hassanin are in their squad in the PSL.
Talking to media in Karachi, Sarfraz Ahmed said that both fast bowlers Naseem Shah and Mohammad Hasnain will be in the Quetta Gladiators squad for international cricket.
He said that despite this advantage, no team can be considered a favorite in T20 format.
He said that Naseem Shah was with Quetta last year, even though he was unfit, the team did not release Naseem because everyone knew that Naseem Shah would be a big bowler very soon and today Naseem Shah made hatrick in Test cricket.
Sarfraz Ahmed congratulated Naseem Shah and said he hoped he would play well in the PSL too.
Former captain of the national team said that this time the whole PSL is happening at home ground for which everyone is excited, hopefully Quetta team will be able to defend the honor by playing well.
It is believed that Pakistan’s young fast bowler Naseem Shah has become the youngest fast bowler in the world to win this award by hitting a hat-trick against Bangladesh in Pindi Test.
Last year, Mohammad Hassan, a national bowler, set a world record by hitting a hat-trick in T20 cricket at the age of 19.
