The Punjab government has established a shelter in the house of former finance minister Ishaq Dar in Gulberg area of Lahore.
Sources say the court issued a stay order on the auction of the Hajvery House in H Block Gulberg after which it was decided to build a shelter in the house.
The district administration installed beds in 12 rooms of the Hajvery House and a shelter board was also installed outside the residence.
In this regard, the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and Federal Minister for Naval Affairs Ali Zaidi said, “The conversion of of Ishaq Dar’s residence into shelter home is the best news of the year.”
Ali Zaidi added that Ishaq Dar’s luxurious residence was converted into a shelter, which is the best news of the year.
His residence was sealed by government on the orders of NAB last year .
