WASHINGTON: Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan wants a bilateral relationship based on a comprehensive, long-term and multi-faceted partnership with the United States.
He said that Pakistan supports peaceful resolution of the issues through dialogue for peace and stability in the region.
He told this to US Secretary of National Security Affairs Robert O’Brien, according to News.
This was the first formal meeting of the Foreign Minister with the new US Advisor for National Security, scheduled for September 2019. Pak-US bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.
