Prime Minister Imran Khan visited a utility store in the federal capital Islamabad and reviewed the prices.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced a relief package of Rs 7 billion on sugar, flour, ghee and rice through Utility Stores Corporation.
There has been a shortage of flour, lentils, wheat and rice at utility stores across the country following the announcement of the relief package.
Despite the announcement by the Prime Minister of the price reduction, people were facing difficulties all day long. However, in the evening, the Prime Minister himself visited the Islamabad utility store.
During the visit, the Prime Minister reviewed the prices of essential commodities.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that providing relief to the citizens is the top priority of the government.
