Manpower export to Saudi Arabia increased this year

According to data compiled by the Bureau of Immigration and Overseas Employment, the export of manpower to Saudi Arabia increased by 207% in the first ten months of this year.

The Overseas Ministry helped more than 258215 Pakistanis find employment in Saudi Arabia during the first ten months of 2019, compared to 84091 in the same month last year.

According to the Ministry of Overseas this year, the number of emigrants in Oman was 23998, which is 5.8% more than the previous year.

In this regard, the Assistant Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfi Bukhari said that thanks to the Prime Minister’s goodwill, my ministry was able to increase the export of manpower to Saudi Arabia by 207%.

Earlier on October 21, the report was issued by the Overseas Pakistanis, in which, in the first 9 months of this year, 5 lakh 29 thousand 430 people were registered for employment abroad.

The report said that the number of overseas Pakistanis increased due to agreements and government measures from the Gulf countries. During the period of special Zulfi Bukhari, the Assistant Prime Minister, 4,64,668 people got employment in 12 months.
