Ten years later, Sri Lanka’s Test squad arrived in Islamabad to revive Test cricket in Pakistan. Sri Lankan Team is accompanied by newly appointed and Former head coach of Pakistan’s National Side, Micky Arthur.
The Sri Lankan team arrived at the Islamabad Airport via Dubai, where the officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board welcomed the guests. Sri Lankan captain Dimuth Karunartne says his team is excited for Pakistan tour and are determined to beat Pakistan in the Test series.
The first match of the two-Test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played in Rawalpindi from Dec 11 to Dec 15. The second Test match between the two teams will start from December 19 at the National Stadium in Karachi.
On the other hand, sources said that all the players of Pakistan cricket team have also reached Islamabad for the Pakistan Sri Lanka Test Cricket Series. Important consultation was held in the meeting. The national cricket team will play its practice match at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium tomorrow.
