President Arif Alawi says the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should stop responding to news reports published in newspapers.
Addressing a function on World Anti-Corruption Day, President Arif Alawi said that accountability should start from the powerful and the influential men and accountability in Pakistan is moving now on non-political basis.
President Pakistan said that according to NAB law, the allegation proves that my wealth is legitimate, NAB should stop responding to the news published in newspapers.
He said that every citizen of the country can abolish corruption in politics by the power of his vote and further steps would have to be taken to completely eliminate corruption in the electoral system.
President Arif Alavi said that the state of Madinah is a dream of every Muslim, but unfortunately the challenge of separation law for the elite and the common man is still facing today.
