Former Pakistan cricket team’s coach, Micky Arthur, has joined the Sri Lankan Cricket team as head coach on a two-years contract.
Arthur’s first appointment will be against Pakistan when the islanders arrive in Pakistan. He will arrive in Pakistan with Sri Lankan Cricket team on December 8.
The first test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will commence from December 11th in Rawalpindi.
They will all be joining on two-year contracts,” Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) CEO Ashley De Silva confirmed to ESPN cricinfo.
Grant Flower, David Sacker and Shane McDermott will be accompanying Micky Arthur as the batting coach, bowling coach and fielding coach, respectively.
Arthur was sacked as the Pakistan cricket team head coach in August this year.
