The attacker, who killed two people with a knife, on the British capital London’s Bridge has been identified.
A terrorist incident occurred near the London Bridge last night in which a knife-wielding man shot and killed two people, including a woman, while police took immediate action and killed the attacker.
According to British media, the attacker has been identified as 28-year-old Usman Khan, a resident of Stafford shire.
British police say Osman raided a house in Stafford shire and searched the house.
According to the British police, Usman Khan was among the 9 criminals who were jailed for conspiracy to attack the London Stock Exchange in 2010, when the plot was termed a plot inspired by Al Qaeda.
In addition, Usman Khan was accused of trying to set up a terror camp on his family’s land in Azad Kashmir.
Usman was jailed in 2012 for terrorism, which was released in December 2018.
British police say terrorist Usman Khan attended a ceremony at London’s Fish Mongerhal and threatened to destroy it.
Police are investigating the incident, but no further suspects are involved in the attack, according to police.
It is believed that the men on the London Bridge took the help of a fire extinguisher to stop the attacker and eventually overpowered the attacker, who was later shot by the police.
It is to be remembered that former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is also in London for treatment these days and that the attack happened last day while he was going to a hospital near London Bridge for check up.
Due to this incident, police closed roads on the side which led to Nawaz Sharif being unable to reach the hospital and he had to return home on the way.
