Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared French President Macron a ‘dead brain’.
According to the Arab news agency, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan took him in the face of criticism of the French president over the Turkish invasion of Syria and fired at him a day before the NATO summit.
In a recent statement by the French president on Turkey’s invasion of northern Syria, Turkey and its allies were called the dead brain and termed it a lack of strategic cooperation between the allies.
Speaking at a ceremony, the Turkish president targeted his French counterpart, saying that I was talking to the French president and I would also say in NATO that first of all, check your dead brain, such statements as yours. The only people who give a shit are those who are in a dead mental state.
Tayyab Erdogan added that you know how to do big things, but you can’t even pay NATO properly.
On this occasion, the Turkish president also declared his French counterpart clumsy and novice.
The French Foreign Ministry, on the other hand, took strong notice of the Turkish President’s statement and called on the Turkish Ambassador to France and sought clarification on the statement of Tayyip Erdogan as unacceptable.
The French Foreign Ministry said there was no scope for such statements in the relations between Turkey and France, while such statements could not maintain a dialogue between the two countries.
