Lahore: Seven people were injured in a rickshaw blast on Multan Road, of which two are in critical condition.
According to Geo News, the accident took place near Chaburjee where a rickshaw exploded which injured seven people and the rickshaw was completely burned while the motorcycle parked nearby was completely destroyed.
Police and rescue teams rushed to the scene as soon as the incident was reported and the injured were rushed to the hospital, where the condition of the two is reported to be critical.
According to the bomb disposal squad, there was explosion in the rickshaw, which used 1.5 to 2 kilograms of explosives while replacing the explosion.
Punjab Forensic Science Agency experts including police and rescue team also reached the accident who inspected the scene.
According to SP Civil Lines, the rickshaw has stated that it had landed in Samanabad after taking a ride from Shishra Kot and it exploded when it landed to the toilet.
Police and other law enforcement agencies have begun investigating the incident
