Prime Minister Imran Khan says today the Supreme Court decision will disappoint those who want to seek clash between institutions.
In a case related to extension of army chief’s term, the Supreme Court has given a six-month conditional extension to the term of Chief of Army Staff, ordering the government to legislate in six months.
On the Supreme Court’s decision, Prime Minister Imran Khan said in his statement on social media that people and enemies must have been disappointed today who wanted a clash in the institutions.
The Prime Minister further wrote in his tweet that there was no confrontation between the institutions, external enemies and internal mafias were particularly disappointed.
Criticizing the opposition once again, Imran Khan said that the mafias sending out the looted wealth are destabilizing the country to protect the plunder.
His tweet reads
“Today must be a great disappointment to those who expected the country to be destabilised by a clash of institutions. That this did not happen must be of special disappointment to our external enemies & mafias within ”
