Powerful countries silent on occupied Kashmir crisis because of ‘trading interests’:PM Imran

Prime Minister Imran Khan says powerful countries are silent on the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir because of their business interests.

Referring to Indian Consul General Sandeep Chakraborty’s ceremony in New York for Kashmir and Indian Hindus, referring to the Israeli-style settlement in occupied Kashmir, he said, “I am sure that the situation of Hindus in Kashmir is due to security.” The situation will improve.

Prime Minister Imran Khan responded to the statement of the Indian Consul General, saying that the Indian government has shown a fascist mindset of RSS ideology in occupied Kashmir.

He said Kashmiris are being subjected to the worst human rights abuses.

He added that the occupied Indian administration had besieged Jammu and Kashmir for 100 days.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that powerful countries are silent on the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir because of their business interests.

It may be recalled that the Indian government had on August 5 terminated Article 370 of the Constitution regarding the constitutional status of occupied Kashmir and made Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh part of the Indian Union.

The Modi government imposed a curfew in occupied Kashmir for fear of widespread public backlash against the decision.
