Pakistani-born British boxer Aamir Khan says that Imran Khan did nothing for sports in Pakistan after coming into government.
In an interview, Aamir Khan said that Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan is a great sportsman and politician but he did nothing to promote sports in Pakistan.
In his interview, Aamir Khan expressed his desire to participate in Pakistani politics and said that if he became a minister, he would do anything for the people of Pakistan.
Aamir Khan claims that he is the only person who has done something for the sports sector in Pakistan and he is taking the Pakistani boxers around the world to fight.
Earlier, Aamir Khan has said several times that he wants to set up boxing academies in Pakistan, but the government has not cooperated.
Aamir Khan said that a minister came to his boxing academy and just went back after making pictures and then nothing happened.
Referring to the promotion of boxing in Pakistan, he said that there should be at least 10 to 15 academies in Pakistan as there are so many boxers in Pakistan but nothing is being done for them.
He said that during the era of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, he got a boxing academy where he spent close to a million dollars out of his pocket, but after Imran Khan came to government, he did nothing for boxing.
It should be noted that Aamir Khan, considered close to Prime Minister Imran Khan, has also been part of a fundraising campaign for Shaukat Khanum Hospital in the UK.
