Islamabad: Government plans to control social media, in which government employees will not be able to use whatsapp.
A meeting of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Information Technology, chaired by Ali Khan Jadun, was held at which IT board officials said the government has been given the proposal to verify the social media news and preventing fake news on social media.
