Rawalpindi: Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa arrived in Tehran on a visit to Iran.
Director General of the Army’s Public Relations (ISPR) tweeted on the social media site that Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa met with Major General Mohammad Hussain, Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces and the regional security was discussed.

According to the DG ISPR, regional peace and stability efforts were also discussed during the meeting while Pak-Iran border security mechanism was also discussed.
Three days ago, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said on a visit to Frontier Corps headquarters that the security and social development was possible due to security forces. Steps will be taken for lasting peace.
