Rawalpindi: Deputy Defense Minister of Saudi Arabia, Muhammad bin Abdullah, met with Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
According to Pakistan Army Department of Public Relations (ISPR), Mohammed bin Abdullah met the chief of Pakistan Army at GHQ. In which matters of mutual interest were discussed.
The Deputy Defense Minister of Saudi Arabia also spoke to General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Defense and Security Cooperation. Mohammad bin Abdullah also discussed with the Army Chief the overall situation of regional security.
Two days ago, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa while addressing the Corps Commanders Conference at GHQ said that Pakistan was ready to face all kinds of challenges.
He said that the situation of better peace and stability in Pakistan was a matter of sacrifice for the nation, national institutions and the forces of Pakistan and their sacrifices will not be discouraged.
He said that the Pakistani army would continue to perform all the duties assigned under the constitution and law to assist the domestic institutions. The Pakistan Army is ready to tackle all kinds of challenges, including the eastern border and the LOC.
