Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was discharged from the treatment hospital for 15 days but could not be shifted to Sharif Medical City Hospital. Nawaz Sharif has been undergoing treatment at the hospital for the past 15 days, where his platelets have fluctuated.
The former Prime Minister was to be shifted to Sharif Medical City Hospital by his will and the staff and ambulances of the Sharif City Hospital had also arrived at the Services Hospital to receive them. PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz were also present at the hospital and waiting for Maryam Nawaz’s transfer to Nawaz Sharif.
Due to the non-issuance of Maryam Nawaz’s plea by the Lahore Accountability Court, Nawaz Sharif will remain in the services hospital today after which Shahbaz Sharif has left the hospital.
An ambulance at Sharif Medical City Hospital has also returned from the services hospital. It may be recalled that the Lahore High Court had granted bail in Maryam Nawaz’s Chaudhry Sugar Mills case and ordered to deposit Rs 2 crore bail and Rs 7 crore in cash court.
