After Pakistan Foreign office, DG ISPR Asif Ghafoor has also rejected the new map of Kashmir released by the Indian Government, was displaying and seeking to depict parts of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir within the regional administration of India.
The Government of Pakistan (GOP) has declined the news maps saying that these maps are not agreeable with the UNSC resolutions. Furthermore, the Government of Pakistan claimed that the maps issued by India were incorrect, legally indefensible, void and in complete violation of the related UNSC resolutions.
“Such measures by the Government of India cannot prejudice the inalienable right to self-determination of the people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir,” said the Pakistan Foreign Office in their press release.
Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Asif Ghafoor rejected the maps issued by the Indian government, in his tweet. DG ISPR, in his tweet, clearly stated: ”the time is not far when Indian map will get redrawn and only the Kashmiris will draw the actual map of their homeland.”
