Australia defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in the 2nd T20 to take a one zero lead in the three-match series. Pakistan, batting first, gave Australia a target of 151 runs to win was chased by Aussies with loss of 3 wickets in the 19th over.
Australia’s Steve Smith scored 80 off 51 balls and remained unbeaten while McDermott also scored 21 unbeaten. Pakistan’s Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Amir, and Imad Wasim took one wicket each.
Pakistani batsmen performed extremely disappointingly, but thanks to Iftikhar Ahmed’s aggressive innings. The green shirts managed to score 150 runs in 20 overs. After winning the toss, Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam once again started the innings with Fakhr Zaman as the opener but Fakhr Zaman only scored two runs.

Pakistan scored 67 runs in the last three overs thanks to Iftikhar Ahmed’s aggressive innings. Iftikhar Ahmed was unbeaten on 62 off 34 balls with 6 sixes and 5 fours.
