McDonald, a world-renowned fast food company in the United States, fired the CEO over a relationship with a company employee.
According to the British Broadcasting Agency, there was mutual consent between McDonald’s chief executive officer Steve Easterbrook and the company employee, but they violated company policy.
The broadcast reports that the company staff has been emailed by Easterbrook, CEO of British Businessman and MacDonald, acknowledging his relationship with the employee and calling it his fault.
In an email, Steve said he agrees with the board’s decision, giving the company importance and now it’s time to leave.
Esterbrooke, 52, joined London McDonald as manager in 1993 and was made McDonald’s chief executive officer in 2015, 22 years later, with McDonald’s CEO earning $ 16 million annually. ۔
Easterbrook has also stepped down from McDonald’s presidency and board membership, while Chris Camp Zanski, president of McDonald’s in the United States, has been immediately appointed CEO of the company.
