Opposition has decided to end Azadi march. According to sources, the APC has fallen victim to the deadlock in the future of the Azadi march while the PML-N and the PPP have again disagreed over the suggestions made by Maulana Fazlur Rehman. According to sources, the decision to end the sit-in was taken at a party conference yesterday.
Sources say that the JUI-F has sought the resignation of its 15 members from the National Assembly, who will remain with the leadership and will be used in due time. According to sources, during the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the unanimous decision would be announced by going to the public meeting.
During the meeting, the PML-N took the stand that they could not support the undemocratic process. The PML-N delegation advised that they would fully support peaceful march but would not join in violent activity. He said that all JUIF members, including myself, submitted their resignations to Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
He further said that an important meeting of the party has also been convened after the APC. It should be noted that Shahbaz Sharif, President and former Chief Minister of PML-N, had refused to attend the conference due to trouble in the waist. Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto also did not attend the All Parties Conference.
