Islamabad: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) has demanded its 15 members to resign from the National Assembly, and will resign if necessary.
According to details, the JUI-F has begun to consider the option of resigning the assemblies.
Sources say that several members of the JUI are present at the residence of Maulana Fazlur Rehman and a consultation on the future strategy, which is underway.
Party leaders have begun to consider various options, including the resignation of the top assemblies, and they are taking all aspects in consideration in this regard.
All the decisions were given to the party’s chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, in a meeting of the JUI’s Majlis Shura yesterday.
Sources said the Shura members suggested that it is important to take the opposition into confidence to turn the protest into a movement. Effective knowledge should be adopted to increase pressure on the government while the issue of collective resignations will also be brought to the notice of the opposition parties.
Addressing the participants of the Freedom March after the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that we have plan A, B and C.
