Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulated his government on completing the Kartarpur project in record time and said that Kartarpur is ready to welcome Sikh pilgrims.
Prime Minister Imran Khan shared the photos of the Kartarpur project on Twitter and said that I would like to congratulate my government on completing the Kartarpur project in record time for Guru Nanak’s 550th birthday celebrations. Kartarpur is all set to welcome Sikh pilgrims.
The opening ceremony of the Kartarpur transit project will be held on November 9, with key personalities from India including Navjot Singh Sudhu and former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. More than one lac pilgrims from the world are expected to attend this prestigious ceremony in which PM Imran Khan will formally inaugurate the Kartarpur corridor.
It should be noted that two days ago, the Prime Minister had abolished the condition of passport for Sikh pilgrims visiting Kartarpur Ziarat and the condition for registering 10 days ago. Also, there would be no charges for Sikh visitors on the day of inauguration.
