Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan announces special discount for Sikh pilgrims from India.
In a statement issued on Twitter, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Sikh pilgrims coming to India from Kartarpur will not need passports.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Sikh pilgrims do not even have to register for ten days before coming to Kartarpur.
Prime Minister Imran Khan further said that no fee will be received from Sikh pilgrims on the occasion of the 550th birth anniversary of Baba Gurunanak and the opening of Kartarpur Passage.
کرتارپور زیارت کیلئے آنےوالے سکھوں کیلئے میں نے 2 شرائط ختم کردی ہیں:
1.انہیں پاسپورٹ درکار نہیں ہوگا،محض درست شناخت ہی کافی ہوگی۔
2.انہیں 10 روز قبل اندراج کی زحمت بھی نہ اٹھانا ہوگی۔
مزید یہ کہ افتتاح اور گروجی کے550ویں جنم دن کےموقع پربھی کوئی واجبات وصول نہیں کئے جائیں گے۔

Apart from this, a few days ago, the government of Pakistan has also issued a commemorative coin worth 50 rupees on the 550th birthday of Baba Gurunanak, the religious leader of the Sikhs.
It is to be remembered that Prime Minister Imran Khan will officially inaugurate the Kartarpur transit on November 9 in which several prominent figures from India will also be present.
It is to be remembered that Prime Minister Imran Khan laid the foundation stone of the Kartarpur transit project on November 28, 2018. In almost a year, construction of a four-and-a-half kilometer long road from Darbar Sahab to Pak-India border has been completed.
