Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), gave 48-hour time for Prime Minister Imran Khan to resign, in a public address. He explained that one day today and the next two days, during which the Prime Minister should resign.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman asked the participants of the rally, would you believe in less than resignation? On which the participants chanted ‘No’ with one language.
In his address, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that we could not show any more patience. We want to see the institutions strong. We do not want to collide with the institutions, but we also want to see the institutions neutral. The decision of the people has come. The government has to go.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the participants of the sit-in want to go to D Chowk. I have listened to you. Nawaz Sharif has also listened. Asif Ali Zardari has also listened and those whom we are trying to convey. Listen too. Maulana said that this sea of people has the power to go to the Prime Minister’s house and arrest the Prime Minister.
Lastly, he asked the participants to be present in the sit-in with patience, the opposition parties are in contact and the situation is being monitored momentarily. Whatever decision will be made, the participants will be informed.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that if the prime minister does not resign in the next two days, the future course of action will be decided by mutual consultation.
