Muslim League-N leaders Ahsan Iqbal and Maryam Aurangzeb has said that the opposition has postponed the Independence March in Islamabad for today due to the tragic incident happened today.
Ahsan Iqbal, leader of the PML-N, said that a major tragedy has occurred today in the train due to eruption of fire and PML-N has decided to postpone jalsa today.
He said that all opposition parties have jointly decided to hold a rally after Friday. The convoy will arrive in Islamabad today.
Ahsan Iqbal says PML-N will join Nawaz’s central leadership, provincial presidents, with party president Shahbaz Sharif.
However, Due to Freedom March, Islamabad, Pindi educational institutions and metro remained closed.
The PML-N leader, Maryam Aurangzeb, has also confirmed that the opposition’s gathering has been postponed due to incident , but the march will be held today and the march will take place tomorrow.
On the other hand, the members of the Rahbar Committee are coming to Islamabad to lead the procession.
