Prime Minister Imran Khan says the provincial government’s job is to solve Karachi’s problems.
PTI’s members from sindh assembly met with Prime Minister Imran Khan at the Governor House in which Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Federal Prime Ministers Swati, Khusro Bakhtiyar, Ali Zedi, Faisal Wawada, Assistant Special Nadeem Babar and Member National Assembly Asad Umar was also present.
The members of the Provincial Assembly apprised the Prime Minister of the development work and issues in their constituencies.
Federal Minister for Planning Khusro Bakhtiar briefed on the ongoing and pending federal projects in Karachi, while Governor Sindh assured that the K-4 project would be completed at all costs.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Karachi is the economic hub of the country and the federation is fully responsible for water, transport, waste management and other issues in Karachi.
Unfortunately, in the past the people of Karachi and the problems of Karachi were ignored, Sindh’s economic situation worsened due to corruption.
He added that the provincial government’s job is to solve the problems of Karachi, but for the public welfare, the federal government is contributing to the solution of Karachi’s problems according to its resources.
The Prime Minister said that our government inherited the greatest economic deficit in history but now the country’s economic situation has improved to a great extent.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister directed the Federal Ministers to further enhance their contacts with the Karachi Assembly.
In addition, a delegation led by MQM Pakistan’s convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui also met Prime Minister Imran Khan.
